Profile

Revealing treasures of the Earth

Chiaki Miyauchi

Jewelry Designer, GIA Graduate Gemologist

After earning an appraisal qualification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA-GG), Miyauchi studied jewelry design in Japan and the West. She worked with long-established jewelry manufacturers and wholesalers and led an Italian brand before establishing her own collection in Japan, called TACARA.

Nature and Humankind are the treasures of Mother Earth. Designing bespoke and comfortable jewelry ethically and sustainably is Miyauchi’s life purpose. Creating pieces of art in collaboration with nature which each wearer will cherish is her greatest joy.
